Presage
A secret Omen

[/size]
When I came into this life I found I was called Présage, so I guess that is my name;;
The name Présage means omen;;
I have lost count of the days, of the weeks and the hours, just that I am older than four generations- I'll leave it at that;;
I would be insulted if you could not tell I was a female;;
Body Type, eyes, pelt etc:
Do not fear my looks...
Overall, Présage is an elegantly beautiful wolf from a long line of alphas. She has much pride in her dashing white pelt and keeps it clean from any blemishes and takes great pride in how it looks like snow. Her pure white fur frames her face flawlessly, enhancing her appearance dramatically. Swaying behind her is a long, yet extremely fluffy tail that seems, to never stop moving.
Présage has the most royal face with prominent features. Her muzzle is long and narrow, with a well-proportioned black nose at the end. Inside, she has 42 pearl stained canines, each extremely sharp and long with the exception of one chipped one. Places symmetrically on her face are her two gorgeous eyes. However, she has a problem with one for she is entirely blind in her right eye. The eye on the left is a breathtaking shade of deep azure while the one on the right, the blind one, is a striking shade of mauve.
Along with being blind, she has another problem as well. Due to an accident when she was little, Présage’s left hind leg was broken and the healers of the pack were helpless and she had to let nature take its toll and slowly heal her. Because of that, she now walks with a limp though it does not hinder her run for when she runs, you cannot tell the difference though she’ll usually step softer on that leg.
As for her paws, well they look small but they are just right for her lean, muscular body. Talons are long and sharp though she misses on on both her front paws from the same accident that damaged her leg. Never, will the two talons grow back but in all honesty, she does not really notice that they are not there.
I am a Fate, I have many powers- some you could not imagine;;
Oh my wings are so beautiful! They remind me of the wings of a majestic eagle. My wing span is large, though I do not know their measurements for my life. The wings coming from behind my shoulder blades are pure white, like the rest of my body and they are made of soft, long feathers;;

History:
It is not an understatement to say that Présage ‘s life was “boring”, uneventful, or unexciting. However, let us start off from the beginning, starting with her birth…
In a land known only to few, a sallow-colored female was giving birth in a meadow under a great Willow tree. Why, was she not in the protection of a cave some may ask; the answer is fairly simple. In that region of the world, there were no enemies, no wars to be fought and never, I repeat never any bloodshed between wolves. Everyone was simply peaceful and the landscape serene for the pack lands were nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains, an ocean, and vast plains that went on forever in the eyes of a wolf.
Surrounding the sallow female was a pallid male wolf, large in stature and held himself proud like an alpha for he was one, with a six happy-go-lucky wolves around him and his mate, Audrey. Audrey gave birth to seven healthy pups, six being male and two being female. They were born in this order: Ratri, Présage, Kieran, Nyoka, Brone, Luc, Lucero, and Delano. It was ironic however, that pups born into such a peaceful pack were given names with such dark meanings except for two of the males while the rest, were doomed with evil names, names that were ridiculed in secret but worshipped in the open.
Présage, being the eldest daughter, and Ratri being the eldest son were to be raised differently after birth. The five siblings born under them were taken to another nursing female who had just lost a litter and she was to raise them as her own and keep hidden the origin of their birth, just like the rest of the pack. While the others were in the care of a subordinate Présage and Ratri were kept with their mother and father to be raised as strong, quick thinkers who would be taught the ways of the pack and take over as Alpha male and female.
As yes, that was a dark secret of the Razi pack dating back seven generations. It had turned into a custom for the eldest son and daughter born to the alphas to grow to be the next leaders, to love each other dearly and mate, producing more offspring and strengthening their family line. It was a wicked practice but it kept her family in that precious dominant spot, and also kept their beauty strong…
As she grew in age and size she also grew tired of the same things everyday. When she awoke she was to eat with Ratri they were to eat, than listen to the elders talk about the history of the pack, than travel to their parents to learn about keeping dominance and how to rule a pack, than off to training for fighting and hunting. It was very droll, doing the same thing and soon Présage grew bored and decided one night to sneak away and explore the mountains.
When she approached them, she shivered in fear. Nothing had been this big before, towering hundreds of thousands of feet high. Determined however, she began to climb a steep rock face without thinking of the consequences for when she got eighty feet up, the pack came for her, shouting at her to come down. So she did. This, was when she had her accident. She lost her footing and started to tumble, frantically clawing at the rock to get a good hold, ripping two nails out in the process. Opening her mouth she howled in pain only to have her head hit a rock, boring her teeth down on it, chipping one.
Still, she tumbled, coming to a ledge that she feel off, dropping six feet. When she landed a sick cracking noise was heard and everyone went quiet and than a howl of anguish, of such pain never before heard of of Présage turned her head, lodging a stick into her eye. Everything went blank.
Her healers tried all they could. They were able to help her eye but they gave it a new color, able to heal the wound on her paws, but her two nails would never grow back, they could not help her tooth, and they couldn't help her hind leg very well. So, Présage lived on, returning to her routine but excluding the last lesson...
Two and a half more years passed without incident, two and a half years of a boring, unsatisfying life. Secretly she longed for male companionship that was not Ratri , her father, or the elders. She longed to break free of this place and travel, but to where she did not know. One fateful day, her wish was to come true.
The Razi were under attack from one lone male, and he was killing all of them, all six subordinates one by one as he pleased. She could hear them, hear the cries they shouted out as they died, her heart fluttering as she restrained herself from running to their aide. Soon, a white wolf stained red with blood showed, figuring he was the killer, though she stood proud next to her parents and Ratri, accepting the fate of death that was sure to come to her. If he was killing them all, he would kill her too without hesitation. She gazed at him in awe and wonder, staring into his red eyes, her own pleading to spare her and her parents. Finally, he parents told Ratri and herself to run, and they did.
Following that day, the wolf from before came for her, finding her in a den, sitting at its mouth as if welcoming him. His once red pelt was now as white as her, and he told her she was to come with him. Reluctantly she agreed, knowing she had no other alternatives. As she followed him she refused to look at the dead wolves that were her brethren, her friends, her pack. When she passed a white heap she knew it was her mother but she kept going, telling herself this never happened.
At first, she despised him for what he had done yet at the same time she was attracted to him like a bear to honey. He was intoxicating and in a sick, twisted way, almost seductive. All she could think about was him, and soon her fear of him and of what he had done faded and she fell to love him, the one who killed her pack. She followed him without hesitation. Than one day, he explained what she was, why only the two eldest male and females were chosen- they were special, a certain blood line ran through her vanes that would soon take hold of her and turn her almost immortal; she could be killed by no mortal wolves.
She fled, fearing what she was being told by the intoxicating brute. Fleeing because she was scared, because she was somewhat happy, somewhat sad. Was he immortal? The answer to that was yes- and she would find that out years later. She would also find out that the name others gave her and her kind were referred to as Fates...
