So I suppose the logical thing to do when meeting new people is tell them your name, and I guess I'll start with that and then move on to a bit about me.
Hello, my name is Lorna. You may all call me Lorna, Num1cm, or Non, whichever you prefer. I'm eighteen years of age and recently graduated high school, on the last day of January to be exact. That is one reason why January has evolved to be my favorite month, the first reason being that I was born on the eleventh of that month.
I'm not the most amazing person when it comes to proper grammar, punctuation, and all that jazz. One /might/ assume that I'm an intelligent young lady, but I would have to disagree with that. You see, like many other people, I've had many problems and terrible habits. Throughout the entire course of high school I lost a couple hundred brain cells every day, which is the main reason I don't always sound as if I have even the slightest ounce of wit in me. So I'm going to ask you all to pardon me in that case.
I plan on going to college soon, preferable Le Cordon Bleu or The Art Institute of Dallas. Ultimately my goal is to be the head chef of the White House, and possibly at one point in my life own a pastry shop.
I am a decent drawer and a good actress, I can't sing worth a darn, but I'll sing you a song anyway. I have bizarre views on many things and I don't believe in love or relationships, but trivial matters often mean the world to me. For example, I'll go ape-shit over a getting a bean bag chair from the thrift store, or freak out if my cat misses a meal.
I'm currently a bum with no car and no life, I have a half-ass job in which I nanny, but that's coming to an end soon. I'm going to work overnight at Wal-Mart pretty soon here, so no more time for watching the babies any more.
I have a nephew who is about to turn three, and I have such a strong attachment to him and his mother (my oldest sister) that I honestly believe that I would actually kill someone for them. Friends are not a priority to me, save for one that I’ve known for fifteen years. We grew up together and she’s like another sister to me. Speaking of siblings, I have one younger sister and brother and three and a half older sisters. Hormones suck!
I'm still a developing role-player, although I've been role-playing since I was age eleven, I think it was. I love similes, metaphors, personification, and imagery, but sometimes I go a bit overboard and enter into purple prose. For that I will apologize ahead of time, and do my best to keep it a minimum.
Chat-speak is not in my vocabulary and I will refrain from using it, as it is an insult to even my intelligence.
Thank you for taking the time to read my long-winded introduction, and if you would like to know anything else about me I would be more than happy to oblige.
