Rough pads hit the ground with rythmic thuds. A large brute prodded his way through a tundra like forest, it was cold, but alright for his needs. The temperature had seemed to change drastically, from a warm heated forest to a sudden low drop. Where water turns to ice and trees are always covered in a blanket of snow. The ground felt heavy and icy with every touch, his paws stung with the cold icy weather. But it was ok. It was alright. This place seemed to be quite peaceful, the trees that once seemed to have leaves did not anymore. They probably did not have any leaves for many, many centuries. Their branches were crisp and iced over, the bark was nearly black. All that could be seen was an ocean of ice, which stretched on for miles.
Hazard stopped, sniffing the air for any scents. A strong female scent seeped into his nostrils uninvintingly and he wrinkled his nose. Narrowing his eyes he strolled along to be what seemed the borderline...of a pack? So much for his fantasies of running wild in the deep tundra lands. A low sigh escaped his maw and he sat down, starring out into the claimed land. There was so much room, so much space to just run and be wild. Lands should not be claimed...is what he believed, for it should be for everyone. However, he was a hypocrit, and he too claimed many lands already. An overwhelming temptaion overcrossed his mind, should he step over? The consequences were not predictable, but who cares? What did he have to lose anyways?
Hazard stood up, taking one paw and stepping it across the terra border. A mistchevious grin plastered onto his maw, what a brat he was. His tail swung contently from side to side, his mind almost bursting with energy. Of course, he did not know the dangers of crossing terratory borderlines. The consequences of doing so seemed to slip by his mind without any concern. A hardy laugh he had to himself, now fully crossed over. See? there was nobody in site. What harm would it do to have a few minutes to himself, daydreaming about the times he would soon conquer.
Despite his most attractive looks, (so he thinks) he has a problem. A problem which usually scares or limits his social life. Hazard's likely taste for wolven blood was an addiction. Being a cannabal was not as easy as one would seem. Despite his long childhood friends, inwhich he left behind long ago he did have a soft spot. Just like any other 'raging cannabal' he too was the nice guy. Even so, he was not hungry right now. For his hunger was not constant, and he did not eat every wolf he saw, like othrs may think. Although, it is unfortunate for a bypasser to wander by at the wrong time, and catch Hazard in a hungry mood.

OOC: Lol, I love torturing my characters. Poor Ice! She's coming into heat right when she becomes Alpha. xD -------------------------------- IC: Gilded orbs, warm and robust against the icy colors of nature, eyed the swaths of foreign vegetation that laid before her. Immense paws thrummed the hard earth rhythmically as she followed the scent of a dashing hare amongst the smells of... what? Snow? No, it didn't have a smell? Ice? Nope. Hm, maybe this was why hunting here was so easy. There weren't enough smells to tickle your nose into believing that the target went that way instead of the other. Well, it was all wonderful to Ice Glade, at least.
A cool breeze that cooed across the frigid land quickly sent a shiver up Ice's spine, her perspiration inflicted fur bristling. Muttering a soft curse to the cold weather, she leaped through the deceased brush, ears swiveling attentively upon her regal skull, as she continued to follow the hare, its light paw steps barely audible to her sensitive ears. After a few moments she saw the hare dash into his haven, and a snarl of anger, only with a trifle of embarrassment withdrew from her firmly closed maw. Her second hunt here had failed. So much for easily taken prey. She halted, her tail a banner of excitement from the hunt, as she turned back. Her damp muzzle drifted to the sky as she began a low howl that spoke of her dominance here and how she was seeking company. She needed to speak to someone. About what? Nothing in particular. She was just starving for a good chat. She shifted forward silently as she snuffled the chapping breeze. Claws dug deeply into the sprawling, white earth as she made her way closer to a river. Her massive form, silhouetted perfectly against the tendrils of light from the sun, remained alert and steady. The skeletal trees, towering and various in both shape and size loomed over her, Ice's fur darker than usual. A dank fog was beginning to form, and Ice Glade's nose twitched.
Finally, she moved. A skilled leap sent her into the murky clouds of the fog that obscured most of the scenery. Night was beginning to set in. The low sun curved over a large knoll as it slowly sank beneath it. Luminous eyes scored her surroundings once more, the only thing that could penetrate the thick binding of fog. Reaching the edge of the curved land, and into the forestry, it become more enclosed and dark. She liked it this way. Fiercely carved muscles curved beneath her thick pelt, and pale blue speckles laid beneath her surveying eyes. She stopped her movements once more, only this time she sat calmly on his haunches, waiting for another shadow to appear, signaling a new arrival. Her thoughts drifted to what season it was. She shook her head dismissively.
The female’s long muzzle slowly rose in defiance, and flecks of sweat lipped her brow. Her eyes closed, their strange light diminished. And so, this was how she waited. Waited for what?
Who nows?
Wait, what was that smell? A rich scent slipped through her nostrils. It was musky and strong... it was a male. "Dang it!" she yelled aloud. Yes, she was seeking company but did it have to be a male.. at this time? Still, she knew she could not deprive him of joining. A pack wasn't a pack when it had only one member.
With a sigh she used her power. She was near the scent in an instant. Still not close enough for him to notice her, hopefully, but she did see him clearly now. He was very handsome, to her horror, and a strange power seemed to loom over him. She wasn't frightened however intimidating he was. She was an alphess. She couldn't be afraid.
When he stepped over the border, her lips curled into a snarl. She wouldn't hold back any longer. She used her transportation power once more. Now, she was behind him. "..And what the heck do you think you're doing, brute? I am Ice Glade. Leader of these parts. Back of, love, or I'm going to have to take action."
A soft twinge went through her body when her fur brushed his. Oh, great! --------------------------------

Hazard's eyes widened as the smell of the she-wolf grew closer within the seconds. He paused, frozen in place, listening for the female wolf to just appear infront of him, or behind him for that matter. He pricked his ears forward, then behind him, atlast focusing on the wolf that now stood behind him. Hazard softened his gaze, giving a mistchevious smile. A low chuckle emerged from his throat, eyes wide again as he slowly turned his head to focus on the femme. Red, wide maniacal eyes now starred at the Alphess, his mouth open, drool dripped down and formed a pool at the base of his feet. "Hahahahahaha..." he laughed hysterically. Heaving out heavy breathes he slowly started to turn around on his haunches.
Smiling...that smile, would make anyone go crazy. His eyes had no pupils, looking like they were in a trance of some sort. His fangs grew larger as he opened his mouth wider, heavy saliva dripped heavily to the ground. "Hello...Miss" he greeted, stepping closer. Now fully turned around he starred wildly at the Alphess, as if he were waiting for her to attack. "By my assumtion, you must be the Alphess of this lonely terratory" he continued, stepping around her. Circling the female slowly, a heavy scent notified him that she was in heat. Hazard laughed, snapping at the air.
"Is it that time already?" he teased evily. The smell of the wolf sunk into his stomach, sending it back up to his brain that it was nearly dinner time. He gave a deep inhale as if to smell her scent, "Isn't your scent lovely" he complimented "almost good enough...to eat" he gave a sly smile. Although, he knew to hold himself back until further ado, until supper was really going to be a problem. He stepped back over the borderline again, almost in a taunting motion. Swaying his tail back and forth contently, quietly. Hazard eyed her carefully, she most defenitley was a pretty one. It would be a shame to have her for dinner.
"Why protect a pack when there is no pack to protect?" he asked raising a brow. He had questions, and he demanded them to be answere. Although, he already knew these answeres, he wanted them to be answered by her. He stood sprawled out infrotn of her, front legs stretched out onfront of him, claws digging deep into the icy earth. His breathing still heavy, tongue stuck out the side of his mouth. He was crazy.

-------------------------------- When the female slipped completely from the shadowed trees her eyes were locked directly at the male. Her movements were slow and drawling as she made her way closer to him. Her expression was unfathomable and when her eyes searched the undergrowth for any type of trap or ambush no sign of the usual friendliness flickered on her maw. Her stance was aggressive, almost to the point of hostile and when she stopped her voice was brittle. "I've asked you nicely, insolent brat. Be gone from these lands unless you wish to join my pack although that might not be an option for you anymore." He had proved himself a troublemaker, a fool, and a disrespectful jerk.
Her fur was bristled stiff, curved ears straight forward. Ice Glade's breathing was steady as her taut muscles quivered, barbed claws ripping into the soil. She silently beset herself on ruffled haunches. Briefly she titled her facade to the evening sky, bruised with ivory clouds. She sent a silent prayer to the heavens where she knew her ancestors must be.
This male was dangerous. She had just gotten this land and already a rude bastard laid before her. Only strength and prayer would help her now unless he chose to back down and join her.
The melodramatic retorts slipped evenly from the male's mouth and Ice Glade turned on her heal to catch the fiend's eye. A hardened stare was enough to tell him that he had spoken too blatantly. She couldn't help but feel a lance of anger towards the foolish male, but her face remained expressionless. She spoke harshly, "I'm not one for flattery." She knew what he was getting at. "..And I wouldn't mate with you even if the fever does take me over. I have self control, unlike yourself." Angling herself towards the brute she rolled her powerful shoulders and tightened bulging muscles. She gave the male one growl and without warning leaped forward. With jaws parted and teeth bared she pinpointed the location she sought..his front leg.
Her attack was simple but if it caught she could ruin his leg's sinew and muscle, potentially crippling him. By digging in with incisors and crushing with molars, this act could force him to fall beneath Ice Glade and she would then progress further. If she failed, than that would be another story. She would launch nimbly away from him and counterattack what he threw at her. The petty male was nothing to her except a stranger and Ice Glade knew with her experience she had knowledge on his side. Only the male was her target now. She wasn't intending to kill him, or even endanger his life for that matter. What she was doing was easy to figure out.
She wanted dominance and she would get it. --------------------------------

A wheezly laugh erupted from the botton of his throat, echoeing out into the female's face. Coughing once or twice before bursting out into laughter again. Spit gurgled out from his mouth and splattered onto the wet snow. Was she seriously telling him to leave? The thought made him choke. His breathing slowed a tad, but steadily regained its speed toa heavy breathing pattern. "Who says I want to mate with you, lonely one" he stated giving a low snarl. He dug at the ground with powerful claws, keeping himself undercontrol from just attacking absentmindedly. He smiled fakely, licking his chops.
Un-expectadly the Alphess lunged at his front leg. It was unfortunate that he moved a fraction of a second too late and got caught in her mess of fangs. He blinked for a second, before ripping his paw away. Hazard barked a deep growl and narrowed his orbs in a snarling look. Figuring it wasn't the brightest idea to have ripped it away he looked down at the bloody scratches. Blood drops fell to the snow and sunk benieth it, he looked up at the Alphess. Only his chest moved with his breathing, his maw shut with silence. Only blinking with his paw raised in the air.
All he did was laugh, a maniacal laughter which boomed out of his maw. Saliva shot out of his mouth as he coughed again, "Foolish one" he said simply. His stomach rumbled for the first time in days. He was hungry. Dinner was the best meal of the day, he could always track down a good sized wolf and fill himself up. His eye twitched as he turned around on his haunches and shot like a bullet into the Alphess' terra. However, he had almost forgotten about his powers. As he ran he only looked back once.
His elemental power was Earth, being able to control the many things that Mother Nature had to offer. His power uses were mainly used for bad things, but I wouldn't say all the things were horrid. He grabbed hold of a dangling branch which lay infront of his face. Wripping it off of the tree's limbs he flailed it around for a few seconds before dashing off a few more meters away. The stick was his main weapon. How he was going to use it? Well...I guess we'll find out won't we?
